The Malaysian National Under-23 finally did something to cheer football mad Malaysians by lifting the Pestabola Merdeka Ke-39 beating Myanmar 3-1 in a pulsating and fairly entertaining lots of yellow cards(not to mention 1 red card!) match at Shah Alam Stadium last night.

The Malaysian striker really have pace and confidence in their abilities, good to see that. I particularly love the third goal! Any coaches would feel proud if their striker scored that goal.

As I have mentioned earlier, the Malaysian junior team is good, no doubt, even the Under-12 national team is among the best in Asia and finished in the top 20 in the U-12 Danone World cup recently if I am not mistaken(Beating Ireland, Drawing with Argentina..)! But it is the senior player that is the problem!

Meanwhile, I found this lovely wordpress merdeka logo/banner!

You can check all of it here

Tomorrow is a holiday! A day to rest and do my blogs..

Happy 50th Merdeka Celebration Malaysia! I don't carry a flag on my car, but my heart will always be here with you. :) common' stand up and sing the negaraku!

And for the national U-23 team, thanks for the memory of seeing Malaysia Win a football tournament. If you can do it again in Korat, that would be marvelous!

Cheers!
